Brandi is a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT), a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) for Montana, and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for Colorado. She has a BA in Psychology from The Richard Stockton College of NJ and Masters in Dance/Movement Therapy & Counseling from Antioch University New England.
Originally from NJ, Brandi grew up playing sports, riding horses, and dancing. If she was having a difficult day and needed a release, she would push aside the furniture and dance in her living room. It wasn’t until she took a dance class at a local community college and learned about dance therapy. From that moment, she knew she wanted to become a dance therapist. After her schooling, Brandi started working in the mental health field in 2014. Most of her work has been in outpatient but she has led dance/movement therapy groups at inpatient facilities and nursing homes.
In April 2017, Brandi moved out west to expand her love for movement and the outdoors with her husband and two dogs, Buck and Hank. When Brandi is not with clients, she enjoys practicing yoga, going to Crossfit, taking her dogs to the park, and spending time with her husband and friends.
Brandi is thrilled to be seeing clients at her private practice, Moving Through It Counseling LLC.
